3 New Games For OS2008

Since loading OS2008 on my N800 Internet Tablet, the first thing I usually do in the morning is refresh my applications list, to see if there are any updates or new applications loaded in. Sometimes it’s a fruitless exercise, but other days, such as today, it’s a small jackpot. The three games that showed up are CrazyParking, Icebreaker, and TuxPuck. I’ve not seen these on the Tablet before, so I decided to check them out, and I have to say, these are some awesome games!

crazyparking

CrazyParking is a puzzle game similar to Marbles where you must move the vehicles around in order to ‘free’ the red car. This game is very finger friendly and will keep you working for quite a while with the dozens of different levels. v0.2.7

icebreaker

Icebreaker is a clone of the old JezzBall game that we’ve all played. You have a number of penguins bouncing around in a grid. The goal of the game is to create walls that close off portions of the grid, so that the penguins are only bouncing around in a certain percentage. You can create vertical or horizontal walls and the wall stretches in both directions across. v0.2.6

tuxpuck

TuxPuck is somewhat like Pong, only you’re playing with a penguin. I found this game to be a bit too fast paced personally, specially for a first time player, but I’m sure you’d get used to it. v0.0.8-4

I believe these games are all located in the Chinook Extras repository: http://repository.maemo.org/extras chinook free non-free.
